The international standard proposal ISO/NP 25994 “Spherical plain bearings – Self-lubricating bearings of PTFE fabric liner type”, led by China, has been officially registered and approved by ISO/TC 4/SC 7 “Spherical Plain Bearings”.
This marks the sixth international standard proposal in the rolling bearing field initiated by China and the third proposal approved under ISO/TC 4/SC 7, highlighting China’s continuous leadership and contribution to international bearing standardization.

Standard Overview | ISO/NP 25994
ISO/NP 25994 specifies boundary dimensions, tolerances, internal clearances and other technical requirements for self-lubricating spherical plain bearings with PTFE fabric liners, covering the following types:

Self-lubricating radial spherical plain bearings with split outer rings only

Self-lubricating angular contact spherical plain bearings

Self-lubricating thrust spherical plain bearings
The standard aims to enhance global consistency, interchangeability and reliability of PTFE fabric liner spherical plain bearings.
