Truck Wheel Bearings & Hub Units Manufacturer

Trans Power (TP) has manufactured heavy-duty truck bearing solutions since 1999, including truck wheel bearing kits, wheel hub units and hub assemblies, driveline components, and clutch release bearings for commercial vehicle applications. Our product range supports major European truck and fleet platforms, including MAN, Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Renault, DAF, and Ford Otosan applications.

TP also supplies wheel hub units and bearing solutions for buses and coaches, supporting both fleet maintenance and aftermarket replacement requirements. These applications require reliable performance under demanding conditions, including high axle loads, frequent stop-start operation, and intensive commercial use.

Products are supported by OE and aftermarket cross-reference information, including VKBA-related references where applicable. Manufactured in China and Thailand under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems, TP products are exported to customers in more than 50 countries worldwide.

European Fleet Brands

MAN, Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Renault, DAF and Ford Otosan — the brands that dominate the European and Middle East haulage parc.

VKBA Kit Cross-Reference

Truck wheel bearing kits indexed against VKBA numbering, which is how fleet workshops and truck parts wholesalers actually order.

Bus & Coach as a Line

Separate hub unit references for transit and coach axles, not just truck parts relabelled.

Downtime Is the Cost

On a truck the bearing is a small fraction of the cost of a roadside failure. Our specifications are set around service life, not unit price.

China + Thailand Plants

Zhejiang base plus our Thailand factory (2023). Choose the origin that suits your tariff position.

OEM / ODM & Samples

Non-standard designs to your drawing, private-label packaging, and samples for bench testing before bulk.

Truck Bearing Cross Reference

Need a truck bearing match? Send your VKBA number, OE reference, cross-reference number, or truck and axle details. TP will confirm the equivalent part, MOQ, lead time, and quotation.

Truck Bearings by Brand

TP provides matching bearing solutions for different truck brands and models, supported by OE and cross-reference identification.

Also supplied for Steyr heavy trucks and Chinese and Japanese commercial platforms. See how we developed a truck bearing around a customer's failure data.

Bus & Coach Wheel Hub Units

Most suppliers list buses in the same sentence as trucks. They are not the same job. A city bus wheel end does far more brake-heat cycles and carries a higher, more mobile centre of gravity than a haulage truck at the same gross weight — and the fleet buys on a planned overhaul cycle, not on breakdown.

Duty cycleLow average speed, very high stop-start frequency. Brake heat soaks into the wheel end far more than on a haulage truck.
Axle loadsFull passenger load sits high and shifts laterally on every corner, so the outer bearing sees more thrust than a truck at the same GVW.
Service modelScheduled depot overhaul, not roadside breakdown. Fleets buy on a planned cycle and want the same reference available for years.
What mattersSeal performance against brake dust and wash-bay water, and heat-stable grease. Not price per piece.

If you supply a transit or coach fleet, tell us the chassis and axle make — we will quote the hub unit and confirm long-term availability for the reference so your depot can standardise on it.

Specifications & Service

High Load CapacityRolling element and raceway geometry set for the axle loads and shock inputs of loaded commercial vehicles.
Heat ResistanceMaterial selection and heat treatment specified for the temperatures a truck wheel end reaches on a long descent.
Precision CNC MachiningDimensional accuracy held on CNC equipment, which is what keeps friction and wear predictable across a batch.
Corrosion ProtectionCoatings and seal systems to survive road salt, wash-bay water and the underside of a working truck.
ISO & SAE ComplianceManufactured to ISO and SAE dimensional and quality standards.
Kit CompletenessWheel bearing kits supplied with the seals, nuts and retainers the job needs — not just the bearing.
OE InterchangeDimensionally interchangeable with the referenced VKBA and OE numbers.
OEM / ODMTailored designs for specific truck models and duty cycles, built to your drawing.
Batch ConsistencyControlled process capability so the tenth container matches the first.
Samples FirstBench-test fitment and noise before bulk on any new reference.

Manufacturing & Quality

TP truck wheel bearing production line

Built for the Global Automotive Aftermarket

Since 1999, Trans Power has been supplying truck bearings to distributors, wholesalers, fleet operators, and aftermarket parts suppliers worldwide. Our broad product portfolio, flexible production, and dependable supply help customers simplify sourcing and meet diverse market demands.

Production is carried out at our manufacturing base in Zhejiang, China, and at our Thailand factory established in 2023. A 2,500 m² logistics centre in Shanghai stocks fast-moving references to support efficient order fulfillment and global delivery. Our dual-site manufacturing network provides greater production flexibility and supply continuity.

OE and aftermarket cross-reference numbers are provided where available to help customers identify equivalent applications. References may include major aftermarket brands such as SKF, NSK, FAG, and Timken for identification purposes only.

Truck Bearing FAQ

Which truck brands do you cover?
MAN, Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Renault, DAF and Ford Otosan are our strongest coverage, plus Steyr heavy trucks and Chinese and Japanese commercial platforms. We supply to dimension and duty rather than by brand list, so if your truck is not named it is still worth asking — give us the model year and axle position.
Can you match a VKBA number?
Yes. Our truck wheel bearing kits are indexed against VKBA numbering, and we cross-reference OE numbers as well. Send the VKBA number, or the truck make, model year and axle position if you do not have it.
What is included in a truck wheel bearing kit?
A kit should contain everything the job needs — bearing or bearing set, seals, nut and any retainers. Tell us if your workshop expects a particular kit content, because it varies by market and we can pack to your specification. A kit missing one seal stops the whole job.
Do you supply bus and coach hub units?
Yes, as a separate line. Bus wheel ends see far more brake-heat cycles than haulage trucks and carry a higher, more mobile load, so seal performance and grease heat stability matter more than unit price. Tell us the chassis and axle make.
Why should I pay more than the cheapest truck bearing available?
Because on a commercial vehicle the bearing is a small fraction of the cost of a roadside failure — recovery, missed delivery, driver hours and potentially cargo. We specify around service life for that reason. If price per piece is the only criterion, we are probably not the right supplier.
Do you supply hub units for hybrid and electric commercial vehicles?
Electrified commercial platforms change the duty cycle — regenerative braking alters heat input at the wheel end, and battery mass raises axle loads. Send us the platform details and expected duty and we will advise on specification.
Can you produce to our drawing for an OEM programme?
Yes. OEM and ODM are both supported, with drawing confirmation before production and long-term reference availability so your parts catalogue stays stable.
What is your MOQ for truck bearings?
Flexible, and it varies by reference and packaging — truck references are lower volume per part number than passenger car ones. Send your list and we will quote MOQ per line.
