Spherical Roller Bearings
Spherical Roller Bearings
Products Description
Spherical roller bearings are the ultimate load-bearing solution for harsh industrial environments. Their unique double-row roller and spherical outer ring raceway design give the bearings the ability to self-align, automatically compensating for angular errors caused by shaft deflection and misalignment.
Wide applicability
Spherical roller bearings are extensively applied across the machinery sector and are a key component in equipment used in industries such as steel production, mining, papermaking, shipbuilding, textile manufacturing, coal processing, and power generation.
Characteristics of common cage types for spherical roller bearings
Robust Construction: Features a rigid outer metal case for a secure, leak-proof press-fit installation into the engine block or timing cover.
Advanced Sealing Lip: Utilizes high-performance elastomers (NBR, FKM/Viton®, VMQ, ACM) engineered for exceptional flexibility and sealing precision against the crankshaft.
Garter Spring: Incorporates a corrosion-resistant coiled garter spring to maintain consistent radial pressure on the sealing lip, ensuring optimal contact and compensating for minor wear or shaft runout.
Integrated Dust Lip (Common on Front Seals): Many TP-SH front crankshaft seals include an additional outer dust lip for superior protection against abrasive contaminants, significantly enhancing seal longevity.
Premium Material Selection: TP-SH seals are crafted from materials rigorously

Types | Features | |||||||
CC | It consists of two pressed steel cages, flangeless inner ring and a guide ring centred on the inner ring. It adopts symmetrical spherical rollers, which features increased load carrying capacity and a longer service life compared with CA.
CA | It consists of a one-piece machined brass cage, an inner ring with flange on both sides and a guide ring centred on the inner ring. It features a higher limit speed and a relatively low noise.
MB | It consists of two pieces of machined brass cage, an inner ring with flange on both sides and one guide ring centred on the inner ring. Its performance is similar to CA, with lower load rating.
E | As the latest design, it uses symmetric spherical rollers, two pressed steel cages, a flangeless inner ring and guide ring centred on the cages. Guide ring around the outer ring can improve the lubricating condition on roller face of end, by reducing friction, guiding roller in the non-load region and assisting roller entering into the load area. Meanwhile, the length of roller is getting longer so that the load rating is greatly enhanced. Usually, the rated load can be increased by 20% -35%. |
