Complete Hub Assembly Solutions
Pre-assembled units for easy installation and stable performance.
Wheel Hub Assembly & Hub Unit Bearing Manufacturer
Trans Power (TP) has manufactured wheel hub units and hub assemblies since 1999. Our product portfolio includes Generation 1, Generation 2, and Generation 3 wheel hub units, featuring double-row ball bearing and double-row tapered roller bearing designs, with or without tone rings and ABS magnetic encoder seals for different vehicle platforms. The range covers European, American, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese vehicle applications.
Manufacturing is carried out at two production facilities located in Zhejiang, China, and Thailand, providing global customers with more flexible sourcing options and stable supply capability. MOQ starts from 50 pieces per reference, and our technical team provides application support and product feedback within 24 hours.
Provide your OE list, cross-reference numbers, or vehicle applications, and TP will confirm the matching reference, MOQ, lead time, and quotation for each item.
MOQ from 50 pcs
Per reference, not per order. Lower than most China hub suppliers, so you can carry more references without tying up cash in slow movers.
China + Thailand Plants

24-Hour Technical Response
OE interchange checks, drawing confirmation and fitment questions answered within one working day.
ISO 9001 · GOST · RoHS
Produced to ISO 9001 with GOST certification and RoHS compliance. Certificate set for your market on request.
Free Samples Before Bulk
Test fitment, noise and seal performance on your own bench before committing to a production order.
OEM / ODM Packaging

Types of Wheel Hub Units — Generation 1, 2 and 3
Wheel Bearing (press-fit)
A sealed double-row unit — angular contact ball or tapered roller — pressed directly into the steering knuckle. Hub and flange stay separate. Compact, proven and the lowest cost per piece, which is why it is still a volume seller in the aftermarket.
Typically fitted to: Older passenger cars and light-duty vehicles; many Japanese and European models from the 1990s to the early 2000s.
Wheel Bearing (flanged)
A mounting flange is integrated into the outer ring, so the unit bolts to the knuckle instead of being pressed in. Fewer loose parts, faster fitting, and preload is better retained than in a pressed assembly.
Typically fitted to: Mid-size and larger passenger cars, SUVs and light trucks; common on VW, Audi and BMW platforms from the 2000s onward.
Hub Assembly (bolt-on)
Inner and outer flanges are combined into one unit, so bearing, hub and flange arrive as a single bolt-on assembly. No press needed, preload is set at our factory, and an ABS encoder ring can be integrated for wheel-speed sensing.
Typically fitted to: Standard on most vehicles built after 2010, and on anything with ABS or ESC where the bearing carries the speed sensor.
Wheel Bearing Types Compared
| Type | What you get | Installation | Hub flange | ABS encoder | Unit cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Generation 1 | Sealed bearing only | Press-fit into knuckle | Separate | No | Lowest |
| Generation 2 | Bearing + outer flange | Bolt-on to knuckle | Separate | Optional | Mid |
| Generation 3 | Bearing + hub + flange | Bolt-on, ready to fit | Integrated | Common | Highest |
| Repair kit | Bearing, seals, nuts, circlip | Replaces worn parts only | n/a | n/a | Lowest per repair |

Hub Unit Specifications & Service
Applications & Vehicle Coverage
A wheel hub unit supports vehicle load, maintains wheel positioning, and, in Generation 3 designs, integrates ABS wheel-speed signal solutions. As a critical safety-related component, hub unit performance depends on precise bearing clearance, reliable sealing, and consistent manufacturing quality to ensure smooth operation and long service life.
TP wheel hub units cover European, North American, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese vehicle applications, including passenger cars, pickups, buses, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, and agricultural vehicles. With more than 200 hub references available, TP continues to expand its range according to market demand and customer requirements.
For distributors, TP provides interchange verification, private-label packaging solutions, warranty support, and technical assistance to help identify the correct application and simplify product sourcing across different vehicle models and production years.

Manufacturing & Quality
Two Plants, One Quality System
Founded in 1999, Trans Power (TP) manufactures hub bearing products under its own brand. Wheel hub units and wheel bearings are among TP's core product lines, alongside driveshaft center support bearings, clutch release bearings, hydraulic clutch systems, pulleys, and tensioners.
Manufacturing is carried out at our production facilities in Zhejiang, China, and Thailand, established in 2023. A 2,500 m² logistics centre in Shanghai supports inventory management and efficient global order fulfillment. The two-site production structure provides customers with more flexible sourcing options and stable supply capability.
TP's technical centre supports product design, drawing review, application verification, and interchange matching. OE and aftermarket reference information is provided where available, helping distributors identify equivalent TP products and efficiently match their existing inventory.
Certifications
TP hub units are produced under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems, with third-party verification by Intertek. Certificate copies for your market are available on request.

What Is Inside a Wheel Hub Assembly
Eight parts make up a Generation 3 wheel hub assembly. For a distributor, two of them decide your warranty return rate: the seal design and the grease specification. Everything else is dimensional.
Ask us for the seal type and grease specification on any reference before you commit — it is the fastest way to compare two quotations that look identical on dimensions.
